AIPMT 2012- ALL INDIA PRE-MEDICAL/PRE-DENTAL TEST

1. AIPMT 2012 – All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test means for taking admission into Degree courses like MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) and BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) in medicine and dentistry field offered through various Medical colleges and Dental Colleges across India run by the Union of India, State Governments, Municipal and other local authorities of India except in the state of Andhra Pradesh and Jammu Kashmir.

2.  Quotas: This test is being conducted for 15% merit positions for Medical/Dental Colleges of India specified by Court with rules and regulations specified by Govt. of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare regularly. AIPMT generally organized in the months of April – May of each year. 15% of seats reserved for SC Category Candidates, 7.5 reserved for ST Candidates, 27% seats for non-creamy layer OBC Candidates in central institutions and 3% reserved for Physically handicapped Candidates in 15% All India Quota for MBBS/BDS Courses.

3. Eligibility criteria for AIPMT 2012 is 12 standard in Science Discipline from any recognized School Board with minimum age of 17 years old and maximum of 26 years old.

4. Exam Centers: AIPMT 2012 All India Pre medical/ Pre Dental Entrance test examination centers will be available in the following listed cities Agartala, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Imphal, Itanagar, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Noida, Panaji, Patna, Port blair, Puducherry, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla, Trivandrum but we will update you shortly with proper examination centers address for AIPMT 2012.
