NOTIFICATION

Notification Released for All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination,2011 (AIPMT 2011). The Central Board Of Secondary Education, Delhi,would be conducting the All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination,2011. This entrance examination is being conducted exclusively for the 15% merit positions for the Medical/Dental Colleges of India.

Schedule of Examination

Preliminary Examination:
April 03, 2011, 10.00 A.M to 1.00 P.M

Final Examination:
May 15, 2011, 10.00 A.M to 1.00 P.M

Pattern of Examination:
Both Preliminary and Final exams would be of objective type.

Eligibility:
(i) He/She has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course and is an INDIAN NATIONAL.
(ii) The upper age limit for All India Pre-Medical /Pre-Dental Entrance Examination is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of the entrance examination. Further provided that this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward Classes.

Candidate must born on or between
(a) 01.01.82 to 01.01.95 (SC/ST/OBC Category)
(b) 01.01.87 to 01.01.95 (Other Category)

Qualifications:
The Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of such study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training after introduction of the 10+2+3 educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education

SC : 15%, ST : 7.5%, Non-Creamy layer OBC : 27% (in central Instt. only)

How to Apply

a) Online:


> Online Submission of Application may be made by accessing www.aipmt.nic.in from 15.11.2010 (10 am) to 31.12.2010 (5 pm).
> For the Instructions for sending Online Application For AIPMT 2011, Application Fee, Payment modes, Procedure and other related details, visit AIPMT's website (Click Here).

b) Offline:

> Offline Application can be made on the Prescribed Application Form.
> Cost of Information Bulletin and Application Form for All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination,2011 (AIPMT 2011), is Rs 800 (Gen Candidates), Rs 450 (SC/ST Candidates). (In case of DD, Fee is Rs 50 extra)
> The Application Form of All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination,2011 (AIPMT 2011) can be obtained at Canara Bank/ Regional offices of CBSE between 15.11.2010 to 31.12.2010.

c) For Confirmation of receipt of the Application Forms:

Confirmation of the Application Forms received by the Board would be hosted on Board’s website.  Efforts would be made to host the confirmation of all Application Forms received by the Board within 15 days time from the last date of receipt of the Application Forms.
